Puerto Princesa to Sabang Beach Palawan

Going there, we hired a van with the driver, the cost was affordable P3500 or about $80 and it is for the whole day. Sabang Beach or Puerto Princesa Subterranean Park was only 33miles from the city but since some part of the road is not paved, it took us about an hour to get there.
We have seen several of these overloaded Jeepney's and I believe this is the primary transportation of the villagers there. From Puerto Princesa City, riding this kind of transportation can take up to 3 hours  to Sabang Beach and it's only 33 miles.
Here's some part of the road. A motor bike ride would have been fun on these roads!
Here are the people waiting for their turn to catch a motor boat  ride to the mouth of Underground River. One thing I like about this trip to Underground River was that it is organized. When we purchased our permit (to get in the cave) the cost  was relatively low P150 or $3.50 for adult and P200 ($4.50) for foreigners and P700 or $16 to cover all of the boat rides.
The view of Sabang Beach

Getting a massage only cost $10 to $15 per hour

For lunch, we went to one of the buffet restaurant there and we got our own little cottage. The cost per person was only P200 or $4.50 and we got to enjoy the delicious meal and the outdoors.
Here we are!

As for cottages if you want to stay over night, the cost is only P700 ($16) per night/cottage with fan or about P2000 ($45) with air condition. But since you're at the beach, you don't need air con?!
