Bats Kingdom

Found in Subic Bay  formerly US Naval Base in the Philippines. I took these pictures during my visit to a dear friend of mine who lives in Olongapo City.

Bats on Underground River

Sabang, Palawan, Philippines. There were thousands of bats clinging on the ceiling of this cave. The cave was so dark, there's no light coming in except for our flash light. But even in the darkness, I have seen tons of bat poop or guano on the sides. I believed that the guano is a good fertilizer and can also be use for making gun powder due to the high levels of phosphorous and nitrogen.

Bat Island in Hundred Islands

I was so lucky to get to visit this place even in my short visit in the Philippines. This island is one of the Hundred Islands in Alaminos, Pangasinan, Philippines. It is amazing how these fruit bats gathered in this particular island.


This sign is located just below our farm in San Fabian Philippines. It is a welcome sign of the next village. I don't know about your but I found it funny. I

I'm Home!

 My trip home was long, but I am glad to be back. It took me 31 hrs on the road and in the air just to get here.  I'm so grateful for my wonderful and safe travels.

I've been busy travelling around going places I've never been and visiting friends and relatives. I can hardly use the internet here. I have so many pictures that I wanted to share but I guess it just have to wait. To my blog friends, thank you for the comments. I'll be back to the U.S soon.
