Shortest Day of the Year in Fairbanks, Alaska

How many hours of daylight we had today? Only 3 hrs and 41 mins. The shortest day of the year in Fairbanks, cold and dark. The sunrises at 10:59 am and sunset at 2:40 pm. Winter solstice makes me happy because I know that starting tomorrow we will gain daylight again. Darkness will slowly go away but the cold weather continues for at least 3 more months. Anyway,it sure is pretty here in Fairbanks Alaska even in the cold dark winter.

Bleed to Death

The first frost yesterday made my begonia bleed to death!

Stair Climbing during lunch time

I love spending my lunch time here, everyday is different.  I love getting  at least 15 minutes of climbing up and down the stairs during my lunch time. The short time I've been spending here makes a big difference to me, mentally and physically. I feel more relax, my body seems to be functioning  properly, I've been sleeping better and just refreshing overall.

Patriotic Wasp Hive

I had this by my garage door, a patriotic wasp hive. I saw there was no wasp in it so I took it down before they come and make it bigger and live on it. I'm just looking out after my boy. It is very colorful though.

A to Z 2016 Challenge Reflection

I survived the challenge but I'm not that happy with it because I didn't get to really participate. I wasn't able to post for about a week and catching up wasn't easy and no fun and I didn't really get to visit other bloggers blog. So, I learned my lesson that on next year challenge, I will need to be more prepared and plan accordingly. Maybe try to make my post ahead of time and just do a schedule post so I'll have time to visit other bloggers blog. But anyway, here are my post for A to Z April 2016 Challenge. Zipline in Seven Falls, Lake Sebu

Our trip to Lake Sebu indeed up ziplining in Seven Falls. It was a blast. The Seven Falls zipline is the highest zipline in the Philippines with 590 feet high. It took two thrilling rides to reach the end. The first ride is 2427 feet long and the second ride is shorter 1377 feet. The view was amazing. Too bad I forgot the cd with pictures of my rides. But anyway, the ride fee was 350 pesos per person, the fun and experience was priceless. Yakimix Eat All You Can

My brother invited us to eat at the popular eat all you can restaurant,Yakimix in GenSan City. Almost 2 hour drive one way just to eat dinner at this restaurant, but it was well worth it though, thanks to my brother and his family.  My husband got in free because his birthday was within 10 days, that's the restaurant policy. My niece's birthday was within that 10 days too but she didn't have her ID with her so she didn't get in for free. The fee was 500 peso per person and I believed my little boy was free. The staff at the restaurant sing and dance and also give special cakes for birthday celebrants. My mom and nephew My son and niece My son and nieces and nephews  #Yakimix
