How to Vote While Traveling Fulltime and Away From Your Home State



Voting by absentee ballot is a great way to make sure your voice is heard in an election, even if you can't make it to your polling place on Election Day. It's also a great way to protect your right to vote if you're out of town on Election Day or just can't get there because of an illness or disability. In our case, we are traveling fulltime and away from our Home State (Alaska) Being away from your state shouldn't be a reason for you not to vote. 

We ordered our absentee ballot by going to the Alaska Division of Election Website. We fill out the information they needed then we waited for about a week for our Mail in Ballot to arrived.  When we got it, we filled it out and took it to the post office right away.
