Spectacular Dantes View

Image
It was well worth a long drive (a lonely road) to Dantes View. This was our last stop on our first day of journey to Death Valley National Park California. It was already 3:30 pm when we left the main road and it took us about 20 minutes to get there. A 13 mile paved road but the last quarter mile is 15% grade. A steep climb up but so beautiful. Vehicles over 25ft or longer are prohibited on this road. Please watch our short video  Road to Dantes View  to see the road.  There were few cars when we arrived at The Dantes View but those people were out exploring around. It wasn't crowded at all in fact we were the only ones there enjoying the 360 degrees of breathtaking view of Death Valley from 5475 ft high above Sea Level.  We didn't stay long because it was windy and cold.  It would have been nice to explore the area but it was also getting late in a day. There was a Bee Hazard caution sign on the road but we didn't even get the change to see any. Maybe it's because we

Feeling Unproductive

I have not been productive for quite sometime and it's making me Crazy! I felt like what I do is not enough and that there's something that I should be doing. I'm currently not holding a job but I've started an online business, it's not easy though, I still have so much stuff to do in order to make it work. I know that it doesn't matter how good or nice your website is, if no one knows about it, you don't get revenue. So, that's where I am right now, doing things to make my website known and be on the Google search top page. Doing all these requires me to have a lot of time setting in front of the computer.
Anything that I don't do physically, even if I'm getting things done, I don't feel productive. That's just the way I am, I guess. I told my hubby that I want to be productive and his response was "oh, you want to work on the produce?"

One thing that I really like living down here is looking at the birds in our back yard. Birds don't have to worry about anything other than being killed by my cat. I mean, how can some thing that has wings and can fly be caught by a cat that doesn't even have front claws!?!
Blue Jay -  I guess this bird was frightened because the crest bristles outwards. I guess I frightened him.
I don't know where these birds are going, they are so many of them flying together.
