New Year Celebrations in Philippines

Filipinos are big on New Year's Traditions and Customs. There are so many dos and don't on new year's eve and on new year's day. For example, need to wear polka dots, have coins in your pockets, have 12 rounds fruits on the table, house is clean and don't clean on new years day. Make a lot of noise, don't eat chicken and fish, eat noodles, there's so much more to list.
However, if there's one thing I picked up from Filipino traditions was to have lots of fruits in my table on new year's eve. I do it because I love it!  The only day in a year that I'd actually love shopping, shopping for fruits.
Fireworks display was always awesome too.

How has the challenge been going for you so far? Are you meeting your goals of posting and hopping to other blogs? M marked the halfway point!
My blog's giveaway is still going! I'm encouraging everyone to visit more stops. There's a post about how to better use the image alt code -- featured on the main A to Z blog as well as my own.
Fantastic photograph work here! Such vivid colors. Great job.

  2. Looks like fun! All of those fruits look delicious!

  3. We hung out at this place in evening last week before heading out to our next destination. While we were at San Francisco venues here we found the service to be quick and attentive. Probably because it was early on a Friday and it was still kind of empty.
