Our stop over in San Roque, Samar

A good friend of mine, offered her place in San Roque Samar for my family to spend a night or nights before we continue our trip down to the south.  It was late at night when we arrived in Allen Ferry terminal and we were met by her brother and brought us to their place. We felt very welcomed, food and bed was ready for us when we arrived there and before we went to bed, my friend's brother (Edwin) played beautiful music with his piano. They took really good care of us and made us felt at home.

Our planned was to spend overnight there but I was sick and everybody needed an extra day of rest from traveling so we spent 2 nights and that did us good. I enjoyed our time down there, the people were very friendly and the food were delicious. I got to try eating "Ginataang Kalabaw" carabeef cooked in coconut milk for the very first time and "Kinilaw na Isda" fresh fish made with coconut milk they were all taste really good.

View from their back yard!
