Enjoying Summer Evening Sun Activities in Fairbanks Alaska
What is Unique about Summer Daylight in Alaska?
Summer in Alaska is a unique experience. The days are long and the nights are short, with the sun rising early and setting late. This phenomenon is caused by the tilt of Earth's axis and is known as summer solstice. Because of this, Alaska experiences more daylight than any other state in the US during the summer months. In fact, many towns in Alaska experience near 24-hour daylight during the summer solstice.
This makes for an incredible experience that you won't find anywhere else in the world!
