Olympic Peninsula Adventure

From La Conner Thousand Trails RV & Camping Resort, we drove to Coupeville Ferry Terminal. We were on the standby lane and didn't get on the first Ferry but we got on the next one. But because of that, we were able to explore Fort Casey State Park. Here's the link to that adventure A Ferry Ride to Port Townsend From Coupeville  When we arrived at Port Townsend it was late in the afternoon so we decided to spend a night in the area. We drove to Port Angeles and checked in at the Riviera Inn. Nothing special with the Inn but it was clean, cheap, and it suffice our need for the night. The next day, we checked out early from the Inn, got our breakfast, then head up Hurricane Ridge Olympic National Park. We stopped at the Overlook-Victoria B.C. From there I made a reservation for the Ferry back to Coupeville. The Ferry was full until the 5:15pm sailing time, so I went ahead and made that reservations.  We had a nice drive up to Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center.  Here's the lin

Ice Cream or Hot Tea

We were at the restaurant and we offered Alan a soft serve ice cream and a hot tea. And the winner was, the hot tea! He tried the ice cream but after he tasted it, he just ignored it.
I'm so happy because he is not big on sweets.
I guess it helps a lot that we tried to keep him away from sweets and junk foods on his early age. He was always my tea finisher, and when he's done, he takes my mug back to the kitchen counter.

having a tea

My favorite ice cream is strawberry cheesecake with lots of cheesecake chunks. But I am now loving the Tillamook mudslide with chocolate fudge chunk on it (my hubby's ice cream) Yummy yummy in my tummy, there it stay!

It was breezy and rainy here today and I'm feeling sick. I think I'm coming down with colds!

  1. Wow tea over sweets. My daughter was the biggest sweettooth as a child (thanks to her late NaNa). I'll admit I have one myself, but it's more for chocolate. Have a great day. Eva

  2. Yes, I'm glad my boy is not big on sweets. Chocolate is good for you especially if it's dark chocolate but I'd go for white chocolate instead. Thank you for stopping by.
