Spectacular Dantes View

It was well worth a long drive (a lonely road) to Dantes View. This was our last stop on our first day of journey to Death Valley National Park California. It was already 3:30 pm when we left the main road and it took us about 20 minutes to get there. A 13 mile paved road but the last quarter mile is 15% grade. A steep climb up but so beautiful. Vehicles over 25ft or longer are prohibited on this road. Please watch our short video  Road to Dantes View  to see the road.  There were few cars when we arrived at The Dantes View but those people were out exploring around. It wasn't crowded at all in fact we were the only ones there enjoying the 360 degrees of breathtaking view of Death Valley from 5475 ft high above Sea Level.  We didn't stay long because it was windy and cold.  It would have been nice to explore the area but it was also getting late in a day. There was a Bee Hazard caution sign on the road but we didn't even get the change to see any. Maybe it's because we

Constant feeling of needing to stretch during bedtime

I have a difficult time falling to sleep last night. It was worst than any other night. It started few weeks ago, I have this constant feeling of needing to stretch my body, especially my legs and arms. It always happen just before I fall asleep. Sometimes, I just want to curl but then after few minutes, my brain tells my body to stretch again. There are times that, it almost give me cramps due to over stretching. It's annoying! I don't know what it is, but its been giving me some restless nights. Sometimes I stayed up way too late until that feeling is gone, then I can finally sleep.

 Coffee -
It's on the list to avoid for acid reflux. My husband is one big coffee drinker but he hasn't have any coffee for a week now and he said he will go for another week.  Even though it's a torture for him, he still brewed me coffee this morning. I guess he was just following what the bible said about men should do the brewing "Hebrew"
I still have some left
Clean Up -
Here a short video of my baby cleaning up after he made a mess pouring apple cider juice to his cup. Just cute!

It's breezy here today. It looks like it might rain too. Thanks for stopping by.
Be good,
Be kind
Have fun!

  1. "Hebrew" ... I love it! He is a good soul. I suffer too, but have found that decaf doesn't give me any problems. Obviously finding a good decaf is quite a task and there have been times when I've given in, but am always sooooo pleased when I find one (or even a choice).

    1. Thanks for stopping by and for the good info.

  2. Hi Lorena nice to meet you. Interesting post. Sorry you have sleepless nights. As far as the acid reflex, papaya pills from the health food store would be very helpful. They have an enzyme that helps break down difficult things. It has worked for me and all the friends I know that have heart burn. The other antiacids are just blockers and can cause other problems. Papya and pineapple both have the important enzyme called "Bromelain" If you try it let me know. Thank you for dropping by my site yesterday.

    1. Thank you Sytiva, I will check that out. Thanks for the info.
